Sleep deprivation!
This is actually exactly what I hoped for. I mean, sure it would have been nice to be in the control group, but I'd hardly feel like I was participating in a study. In the sleep deprivation group, I get to continue running (which would have been much harder for me to give up than sleep, especially since I also wouldn't have been allowed any form of physical exercise). And I get to feel like I'm participating in a study. And I get two extra hours a night to do whatever I want, without feeling guilty. I can read books, watch movies, work on personal projects I've been neglecting, without feeling bad for neglecting schoolwork because a) I'm too tired to focus on school work after nine or ten anyway, and b) I would normally be spending that time sleeping.
And so it begins...
